Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Nathan was one of 4 DJs for a party some of our girlfriends threw to celebrate turning 30 recently. It was a blast. Any reason to dress up is a good reason to dress up.

I wore a black leather and knit tank, a lace fishtail maxi and bike shorts (modesty!)

I felt great, but I was FREEZING. Normally spaces get all packed out and hot during a party, but this one refused to warm up even when the event got this packed...

I took my jacket off anyway. For effect, you know. Sometimes we suffer to look good. Nathan's set was of course, amazing, and I really enjoyed the other DJs as well (DJ Business Casual, Sarah Jaffe and DJ Sober).

His bow tie has tiny skulls.

There was a LOT of jewelry happening...

And pinball...

I bustled my skirt for dancing...

And hung out with pretty people.

And had an awesome time.

Your Love's Got Me Lookin So Crazy Right Now

So my friend Stephanie works at V.O.D. V.O.D. recently hosted a Pamela Love trunk show. I went and hung out with a few friends and drooled over beautiful jewelry I can't afford surrounded by beautiful people. In perfect leather jackets.

Wendy Time

I'm so excited. It finally got cold enough for me to wear my pink leather biker jacket.
It's such a cute take on the biker shape...

Life In A Gold Plated Body Cast

I'm not sure where in the new house to take pictures. So I'm going to try a couple places. The first one I tried was my dressing room. I get dressed in there...

It's a pretty great room, but not, I think the right place for pictures as it turns out.

Whatever, who cares? Because it finally got cold and I got to wear LAYERS. And FUR and GIANT BOOTS.

Those boots. I love them. The beading, the suede, the ridiculous rabbit fur. I got them maybe two or three months ago and it was pretty rough waiting for the cold. But it came and it even stayed a few days.

And I STILL think you can never go wrong with a silk romper. Unless you also have on two cardigans and a pair of tights and you have to pee and the bathroom is occupied and you KNOW that even after you get in there you have to take off ALL YOUR CLOTHES before you can pee...but really, even then, I still vote yes on silk rompers.
