Giveaway - Moon Raven Designs Claw Ring

How would you like to own this gorgeous claw ring?

claw ring 1

It is, of course, from my favorite Etsy shop, Moon Raven Designs. I purchased it for myself, and I loved it so much that I eventually upgraded to the sterling silver version so that I could wear it ever day. If they made a solid gold one I’d have to start a serious savings fund.

This one is bronze and a SIZE 6. I know. That’s small. I’m told it is adjustable, though you may have to have a jeweler do it. The underside has been painted a couple times with clear nail polish too keep it from turning your finger green (it tended to turn mine green anyway after a while, but I seem to be really sensitive to that. If you need more information, visit the shop. Hey! Visit the shop anyway!)

It’s really a wonderful piece.

All you have to do to win it is comment with something you’d like to see me do on the blog. Some topic you wish I would cover, an outfit or combination you’d like to see, more use of spell check (just kidding. I already use it. It just doesn’t always help. Consider it part of my charm.) Whatever.

I’ll draw a winner January 13th near bedtime! International readers are more than welcome to participate.

That is SO TEENY TINY! But I could totally wear it on my pinky...

Anyway. I would love to know who or what you consider your past (and present) style influences! Celebrities, bloggers, fashion lines, anything!

Love the ring and, because of you, I visited the shop and am lusting after the baby hippo ring! A baby hippo! Awwww...

I wanna see more pictures of your dog! :-)

If I ever let myself buy anything from Etsy, that store would be my first stop. I wear that bird skull all the time & I love everything you've purchased!

Anyway, I love it when you talk about books you're reading, show the contents of your purse or talk about something you're super excited about that's going on with you. Just because it makes me feel kind of like I'm part of your day (*stalker alert*). Ah ha ha. Anyway. <3

well, as a new reader, im definitely not one to say what you should be doing differently. i like you just the way you are!!! :D but, hey - who doesn't love giveaways...if you do awesome ones like this all time time, that would be cool! ;)

OH MY GOD I want that ring and it's actually in my size!! I never find rings in my size!

I love your blog the way it is, but I guess maybe more about the books you read would be fun?

Size 6 is small? Eek! I do have baby fingers! My engagement ring is probably a quarter size too big on me, and it's only 2 3/4! I'm sure the ring would work on my thumb, though. And add some bad-assery to my style, which is needed desperately!

As for things to change, I love the details like your new car, or your hubby's fabulous thrift finds. Have you considered having him guest post on his secrets to his success?

the great blog! your styling is so fun and i get a lot of inspiration from it!
I have some fun vintage cowboy boots i don't wear NEAR enough! I would love to see you rock some of your shorter boots more!

Thanks again! Have a great week!

Fabulous! I know you love purses. Would you say they are your favorite accessory? What was your first "real purse"? And anything else you want to share! :-)

Love that ring! And it's a perfect size for me. I'd like to know about any inspirations you have - do you read certain magazines, or websites, or people-watch? Or just blogs?

That's so cute! It's definitely too small for me, but a friend's birthday is coming up and she has baby fingers, so... :D

I'd love to hear more about your style icons, or how you define your own style -- and maybe how you came to that point!

I am a size 6 ( actually a 5 on my ring finger) and I have to paint all my rings with Clear Polish. I seem to be sensitive as well :) Really I think it's fate that I win this giveaway!

I love seeing your outfits, and think it would be neat to see your closet! Maybe an inventory of sorts, or a post about your closet favorites. I am such a closet peeping tom!

Thanks for hosting such a neat giveaway!

Aww, it's so cute! But so cool looking at the same time.

I dunno if you've ever done one before, I may have missed it, but I'd like to see a style evolution post.. from high school or college up until now and what you think has changed for better or worse. :)

Also, DIY projects if you have any up your sleeve!

I would appreciate it if you could provide some tips on successful thrifting (or if you could consult Nathan for his tips, since he seems pretty successful at it ;) ). I know that it can be very hit or miss at times, but I find it particularly challenging at times. Thank you!

I'd love an insider peek into one of your Target shopping sprees. You always find the coolest stuff! I LIVE in the land o'Target, and I never find the coolness you do.
Maybe a photo essay of you shopping the Bullseye? Better still, you could just come to MN and go shopping with me...
And ooo! I'm a size 6 in rings! Yay!

I like your blog a lot. You wear really cute clothes and you understand that most us are on a budget. I'd like to see more pics of you around some of your favorite places in Dallas!

International reader enjoying the opportunity to participate here. Hooray!
I would love a post on how you work out how to style your outfits, maybe including some 'draft' outfits that don't make it into the light of day.

I would love to see more photos of you when you were younger. I adore the little slices of the past you occasionally share, & it's great to see how style develops.

I like the claw. I would love to win the claw! I just discovered your blog so I don't know what kind of input to contribute. I guess just perusing your last few pics, how about seeing heels? Like stilettos. I dunno.

Oh my gaawd I'm such a fan of Moon Raven Designs and I would love to have this ring. I have really small stubby fingers so it should fit! I would have bought some of her things already if I could afford them. :(

I'm a new reader, so forgive me if I'm requesting something you've already done!
I'm also a Dallasite, and wondering where your favorite places to go thrifting are? My budget is pretty much limited to thrift stores, and as a single mom to a 4 year old, I'm not able to go exploring to find new places to shop easily, so any tips are greatly appreciated! Also, what happens to the clothes heading for your out pile? I'm dying to raid them!
I plan on spending large amounts of this (finally!) freezing day compulsively reading past entries! Keep up your great work!

And a WWWYG tip for the future? Keep being your sass-filled self. I love your writing voice here on your blog, and I truly feel like I know you so well through it. So keep writing, and keep being yo'self. ;)

Fashion inspirations for chilly February and the upcoming spring- where do you get inspiration?

Or... "if i had $1000" -- lets say you get $1000 to spend on yourself and only yourself. What do you get? why?

I'd love to know more about your shopping process: where are your favorite places to shop? do you perform mass market places or thrifting? where do you thrift? how much of a bargain hunter are you? LOL, that's a bit much, I know, but I 'm always curious about how bloggers approach their shopping. And that ring is awesome.

Share more of your great music taste with the world! Link your blog titles to the youtube video or wherever the song is. Yours was one of the very first style blogs I followed, and I think you are awesome. My fingers are crossed for that amazing ring!!

My size!

I'd love to know more about books you're reading, movies you're watching, etc. Basically when I meet a badass person I always like to know the media they like so I can add it to my Netflix queue or Amazon wishlist!

Also, pictures of Little Erin would be fun! I totally understand not wanting to do that (hell I don't think I have ever put up an old picture of myself) but I always love it when bloggers do that.

i love it when bloggers go try on clothes at the store and take shots in the dressing room of what works and what doesn't for their figure.

helps educate me :)

thanks!
