Feelin' Hot Hot Hot!

(There are too many photos in this post, just so's you know I know. He's a cute dog. I can't help myself.)

My dog's name is P. Bitty. He hates having his picture taken, but he ALSO hates not having all of the attention.

For Leina

The Swap went really well, I think. More on that later. But for now, I have some pictures of the sparkle butt leggings. I decided to style them with the vintage Spice Girls tee, because Leina loves them as well.

I loved this look. A bit Glam, a bit Casual.

The tee is not really as faded out as it looks, but it is pretty faded. I cut the neck and arms to give it a bit more edge.

These leggings are so thick I was totally comfortable wearing them as pants. They do get a tiny bit baggy over the course of the night but not horribly so.

This is one of my all time favorite Spice Girls promo shots.

I’m still crazy for the Talon necklace. It just seems perfect with everything.

I added all these spike to this clutch. It took forever, FOREVER and it gave me blisters, but I love the way it came out.

You can just about get a house key, a drivers license, a credit card, a gloss and a blackberry in there. Bare minimum for me, but I can handle it.

Sparkle Butt

I get home last night and I walk in and Nathan asks if I am going to go take my pictures.

I have been sick all week and I was tired and it was misty and gross outside and I just did NOT feel like it. So I didn’t, and as much as I didn’t feel like it I was bummed because I loved my outfit. So I went to my room and threw on some jeans and a tee and grabbed my book to go into the living room to read, and there on the armchair was a big package addressed to me.

I was like “oh, well what is this?” Because A) I never have stuff delivered to the house, I get all my mail at work and B) I have not ordered anything. So I went and picked it up and saw that it was from Leina. I thought “Feels like clothes…I wonder what Leina would be handing down to me?” because I just assumed it was something she wanted to free-cycle to me or whatever. Or maybe a scarf she made. I didn’t know!

So. I took the package to my room and put it on the bed. I opened the envelope. I reached in and grabbed the bag and when I pulled out an H&M bag, I dropped it, gasped and held my breath.

(I am not exaggerating. I'm very dramatic. All the time. In real life. It drove my parents crazy.)

Then I had to tell myself to calm down, because lots of people shop at H&M and she probably just packed whatever in the bag. And so I just stood there sort of staring at the bag on my bed for a minute, and then I reached down and open it and SQUEALED with delight.

I yelled “Leina sent me the sparkle butt pants*!~ I have the sparkle butt pants!” I ripped my jeans off and tried them on and they fit like a DREAM. They are so thick and nice they are ALMOST (but not quite) like a skinny pant. They are AMAZING. I did little dances while staring at the sparkle. I cannot even remember how many times I went to the back to look at them hanging on my garment rack. I would just pick them up, smile and look at Nathan, and say “I cannot believe how nice this is. I cannot believe she sent me these."

So, so nice. To say it made my week is an understatement. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!~

So stay tuned, because I am totally going to wear them this weekend and there will be sparkle butt pics come Monday!~

*sequined leggings from H&M. I have no idea why I was calling them this, but it is in fact a very accurate description.
