Strike A Pose, There's Nothing To It (For the Love of Wendy B)

Today is for doing your best Wendy B pose. Pop on over and take a look! (I think Jentine nailed it, personally!)

My best Wendy B

I went with the double hand on hips and added leopard print for a little edge. And to compensate for my complete lack of red lips or ability to do an open mouth smile unprompted. (You have to make me laugh, or it looks...unnatural...)

(I'm interested in feedback on how you would style this shoulder harness! Please let me know!)

Shoulder harness, snefter at Etsy
Tees, Target (men's)
Skirt, Forever XXI
Tights, We Love Colors
Boots, Doc Martens

Seriously, I'm an imp when it comes to harnesses so I'm not going to try to answer that question.

But YOU look fabulous! I love that skirt!

Wear something totally girlie, like a floral strapless dress with the harness, and rock it out!!

I love how I made it through about 3-4 blogs of Wendy poses before I realized that this wasn't just a weird coincidence and that I hadn't stepped into the Twilight Zone. All right, I'll have to jump on board!

Yay! You wore the harness! I think it looks so great with your simple tee - the metalwork really stands out.

I voted you tops for the pose. You work it, girl.

Your the second person in two days that has referenced Snefter from Etsy! One of my employees just got a body chain, but I'm in love with the shoulder pieces. I think I need one now. I'd probably throw mine on in a similar fashion as you did, definitely with separates and I'd stay clear of wearing it with jeans.

I think putting it on over a simple top like you did her is probably the best way to do it! I would definitely be tempted to put it on over something totally crazy like a shirt with sequin details. I'm not recommending this though because sometimes, I have problems with knowing when to stop. So much shiny!

Holy cow, how I LOVE that shoulder harness piece!! That is seriously kind of badass. Way to WORK it! :)

I love the harness! I think it would look great over a solid black tight turtleneck, or maybe over a black and white striped long sleeved top. (don't you have one of those, or am I imagining things?)

Holy crap, I'm DYING over the shoulder harness! I'd wear it with something super simple, like a long-sleeved maxi dress if I could find one ... I see the vendor styles them with tanks, and that looks great, too.

That is such a beautiful harness! Once it gets warm, maybe over a delicate little silky tank top. I would totally go for wearing it with jeans, though! Show off your inner rocker!

I like how you've styled it here. You actually make me want shoulder jewelry, a sentence I would have never known to type yesterday.

I would put it over a flowy white blouse but that's because there's an edgy hippie in me just waiting for her chance to shine.

Cool harness!

Since you asked, if I had it I think I would wear it with a black sleeveless tank, and skinny jeans (because everything in my life has been revolving around skinny jeans lately and it is apparently the only bottom I can ever think of...), and some badass clunky shoes (which I KNOW you have!).

I have no idea if that is actually something you could do not because I don't know what your weather is like - I know that right now all of my outfits are pretty focused on warmth so I haven't gone sleeveless in months!

Love the leopard + combat boots.

That harness is so cool (but I can see how it would be tough to style!) Hmm, maybe with a simple sleeveless shift dress (though, would it feel weird on a bare armpit?!?)

Hello Legs! even though your boots are flat, your legs look amazingly LONG! I love the punk rock look you have going on here with the mini and boots.

I love the gold chain accent on the shoulder! It really amps up the look!

I think it'd look awesome over a dark, slim-fitting turtleneck. You did awesome with it. Love it!
