I found this shirt on the sale rack at work. The sale price was around 4 bucks. And I felt sorry for it. I had an emotional connection with it. I knew it wasn't really my style, but something about it made me want to take it home and give it a chance. So I did.
It's vintage and the cotton is so soft. It's from an actual Western Wear company which surprised me. I expected it to be from JCPenny or maybe Montgomery Ward...
The print is amazing...
Are you ever attracted to things that seem way off base for your normal style? Do you try and style around them or change your style to suit them?

That shirt looks great on you, and in a normal way... not in an ironic way. I kind of love it! I don't think it's not "your style"--it totally works!
XO!
I'm pretty sure you can pull most things off, lady. This doesn't seem unlike your style at all, really, and I probably would have taken that shirt home, too. It's horsey! Who could resist?
I love anything with a horse print. Reminds me of being 8 and wanting a horse more than anything in this whole wide world.
If you get tired of this shirt, I would wire you $4.32 and take it off your hands in a jiffy.
Hooray for taking the leap! I think it looks great on you and the bag really ties it all together as well. I just bought an item like this myself (something that wasn't my style, but was too cute--and cheap--to walk away from without a proper closet run through). Well done!
this horse print is so fun! amazing blouse. itr looks perfect with his fringe bag.

I love your shoes! I've heard a lot of positive reviews on Kork Ease, but never from anyone who wears them. How do you like them??
The way you styled it with the purse and the denim completely works...NO PLACE BUT TEXAS!!
I think my closet is made up of those misfit items. I'm very drawn to the 'story' of an item. I think the top is adorable and it seems to fit you pretty well. Four dollars well spent.
That's an awesome shirt. I will always make room for something unique (see Friday's shoes, for example).
I like the wedges, and the shirt is flattering on you.
I love the way you styled it with the jean jacket and fringe bag. It creates a theme around the shirt and suddenly that crazy pattern makes sense.
I often try to buy things out of my comfort zone just to push myself to try new styles and hey if it doesn't work I can always trade it in for something else.
that shirt is awesome. Just awesome.
That shirt is amazing and I love your sandals! I am willing to give anything a try but there are certain things I've learned I just can't pull off! there's not many though!
that bag and shirt are the perfect combo! bless your heart for bringing them together. :)
Holy crap, that shirt is AMAZING! Some time we'll have to go out together, and you can wear that shirt while I wear my "Oh Deer!" shirt.
LOVE those jeans on you and super jealous of your Kork Eases!
That top + that purse? Genius.
BEST. Western-vibe outfit. EVER.
Fantastic find. I love that shirt!
Loving how this outfit came together, such a great print I'm glad you rescued it and gave it such a fashionable new home.
That shirt is total awesomeness and as always you completely rock it!
hey! i am hoping to move to Texas this summer-- north of Dallas. Im hoping you can give me some tips on the place. :)
with a white maxi dress, this shirt could be a winner! I like it.
It seems as though the wild horses did drag you away--I hope you are doing well. You have ben gone for a while!
Yes please come back. Was it something we said? ;) Hello? We miss you.
I love that you said you felt sorry for it. I find myself feeling bad for neglected inanimate objects, too.
I'm definitely trying to get out of my comfort zone.
I love that bag, actually I need it!
Are you wearing flatforms? That's awesome!
