Swaptastic Tunic

This outfit is my favorite from the swap.

November 2
(I normally crop, but the dog looked so sweet, I didn’t)

That tunic is amazing. It’s a silk cotton blend and I just love it. It had a tiny button and a little thread loop button closure, but it was never going to close over my boobs, so I cut them out.

November 2

That little jacket is not something I ever would have picked out at a store but I tried it on on a whim and loved it. A black tank and black leggings with my black riding boots completed the look. I knew as soon as I saw Connie try it on how I would wear it. I could not believe my luck when she put it back!

November 2

I didn’t get any jewelry shots. Last night was not a great night. On the way home I was sitting at a stop sign when someone turned left, into my car, head on. I know that doesn’t make sense, and that she should have turned around my car into the other lane, but she didn’t. Anyway. I was wearing my bat skull, my bird skull and an awesome hand piece I made from chain that was sort of like the piece I made for Halloween but toned down. And it broke in the accident. Bummer. I’ll make a new one tonight hopefully. I loved it.

I'm so glad you're ok!

I really enjoy looking at your site and look forward to seeing the jewelry "healed."

Again, I'm glad you weren't hurt in the accident.

I also got into a completely ridiculous accident about a month ago. Some people.. I'm glad your okay, and I hope the car didn't fair so bad either.

Man, that totally sucks! I hope you weren't hurt!
On the bright side, that tunic is awesome and you are certainly rockin' it!

Oh my god that is so scary!!! I am so glad that you are ok though. And you are indeed rockin' this tunic very nicely- I love that print!

I hope the reason you haven't mentioned injuries is that you are ok! Love the tunic on you.

I must say you wear it better than I would have. I could have totally stuffed my bra, buttoned the tunic, and still it would have been gaping.

Wearing a sweater from the swap right now...it was SO fun. All my friends are jealous.

Yikes! Glad you are okay. Love how interested the dog is. Today's the day for posting doggy pictures. I did too!

Yay great swap items!!

Boo stupid Dallas drivers! What intersection were you stopped at? And please tell me she has insurance. Stupid uninsured Dallas drivers.

Wow, I can't believe your jewelry broke. That is scary if she hit you that hard! I can only imagine how frightening it would be to see someone coming at you from the front like that. :( I'm so relieved you're okay but wow, what a ridiculous accident. Some people shouldn't be allowed to drive (actually most people shouldn't, but that's another whole essay).

Love the tunic & jacket (and boots--have we seen those here before?)!

I'm so glad you seem to be okay (which I assume you are because you still managed to post, whereas I think I would be a mess even if absolutely nothing was damaged). And what a lucky swap! There's something a bit Georgia O'Keefe about it. Please don't take that negatively!

That's awful about the accident! At least when you look back on pictures of that day you'll see yourself rocking this awesome tunic, instead of being reminded of the crash.

Total bummer dude! (Ok, I'm done with that!) Good to know you are okay though! LOVE that tunic too - such pretty swirly paisley gooness!

Shitty... glad you are ok though.
And the tunic is great, I love how you stalked it until it was put back. Nicely done.

The dress + jean jacket is a cool look. I've been wanting a jean jacket for a while, I guess I have another outfit idea to encourage me to find one!

What a gorgeous tunic!

So glad you're okay - some people just know how to ruin a day.

Glad you're okay! That must have been scary.

For what it's worth, you look great! The tunic is a great piece and I bet that denim coat will get a lot of wear. It looks like a fun way to top clothing before it gets super cold.
