Thank you so much for all your kind words yesterday. I am definitely going to keep blogging for now. I don’t ever want to be a downer, but life is pretty hard right now if I’m being honest, and I think you know I do tend to be honest. And blogging brings me a sense of purpose and joy. It’s fun. If it ever stopped being fun, or caused more stress than happiness, I’d reevaluate, but for now, it’s one of my favorite things about life.
Also, for those of you who specifically said you love seeing thing re-mixed, over at Weardrobe, you can click on any item listed in an outfit (down under the photograph), and it will take you to a page that shows you every time that particular item has been worn and how. I think that's pretty cool! For instance, here are the three ways I've photographed this dress.
As is this outfit. Unlike yesterday’s semi-tragic effort, I love this outfit top to bottom.
That is the right jacket, the right cardigan and the right belt. For today anyway. This only the third appearance for this dress on the blog, but I’ve worn it at least five times since I got it, and never the same way twice. It was a great buy. It’s so versatile and the fact that it is reversible just doubles the versatility!
I bought this belt at my birthday, specifically to wear with this dress, but once I got it home, I didn’t feel like it was working. Then I saw a couple of you guys wear it this way, with the buckle turned to the back, and viola! It’s perfect!
Nathan commented on how much all the color in this cardigan (technically, this color is listed as amethyst heather on the tag and up close it has purples, blues and pinks) adds to the dress. It really feels Springy when paired with this.
Sorry for the huge accessories pic, but I wanted you to see some things. The pattern on the dress, both of the new necklaces I’ve just made and MY GOOSEBUMPS. It was cold. So cold. The bullet? It’s a “Winchester” and don’t think I didn’t giggle at length when I saw that. If you are a “Supernatural” fan, you’ll get it. But no spoilers please for the current season! I watch it on DVD and am perpetually a season behind. I know I should catch up, but I miss it every year. It’s a bummer. Because I love me some Winchesters.

I am coveting these necklaces so bad!
And I just left a comment on your last post too but... congratulations! You are the recipient of a beautiful blogger award! And I swear I didn’t nominate you to cheer you up. You’re just fabulous!
(you have to answer questions and stuff but just take a look at my blog to see what it’s all about)
The belt is perfect with the dress! Amazing what a little styling tweak will do, eh?
Good idea with the belt - I'm often distracted by the buckle on my own outfits and with the cardigan covering the back buckle - no one knows! I love the cardigan - anything heathered is my buddy! Only you can pull off wearing bullets without seeming like a creep!
This outfit is beautiful! You always have the BEST floral dresses...what I wouldn't give to be able to raid your closet...
xoxo

OMG, you watch SuperNatural too??!! I have met very few others that are as into the show as I am. I can't decide which brother is hotter though.... Hmmmm...
Fab idea with the belt - and I love that on weardrobe it collates your outfits so you can see how you styled them before - I wish it did that on here - so I didn't have to look through!
LOVE the dress - you always wear such pretty floral things! Love the fact that it is reversable too - how cool is that!!
Weardrobe is fun, but I prefer your blog. I like your writing. You make me laugh and you feel like a friend, though I've mostly lurked and we'll never meet! Isn't the internet great? My blog is really random and unfocused and not very interesting to anyone but me and my sister, I suspect, (so don't feel you need to visit mine). But you DO inspire me to re-think my wardrobe AND my posts! Good luck with the future and I'm glad you're going to continue blogging!
I would have never known that belt was not meant to be worn that way. So A++. Oh and DOUBLE A+++ For Supernatural, ugh, I love that show. The boys. Even though I am married and happily, for 7yrs. It was bittersweet to learn my husband #2 Jared Padaelicki got married. sigh. Guess I got to keep hunting.=)
beautiful necklaces - i really like the top one, simple & cute. how'd you make the bullet into a pendant?
You look so cute in this (and for once, I recognize your title lyric - yay! The Cure!).
I love the belt worn this way.
