Eatin' Cheese On Toast

(Thank you so much for your many kind words in response to my last post.)

I was really pleased with this outfit, but it was the belt that really made it for me.

July 20

I’d been hunting for just this belt at thrift stores for a while, but of course once Nathan started looking it showed up. You know how strong the Thrift-Fu is with that one.

And I pretty much just wanted that belt to wear with this dress. I don’t know when or where the idea got stuck in my head, but it did. I remembered that they were popular in the nineties, and decided that it would be a good pattern mix for this dress.

I also love the combination of this bracelet with this watch.

The colors are perfect.

And that’s all. I’m a girl of few words today. I’m exhausted and I am behind on life, but caught up on laundry.

Dress, Wal-Mart
Belt, thrifted by Nate
Jacket, Target
Shoes, vintage
Bag, Lush
Watch, thrifted by Nate, vintage Swatch
Bracelet, self made

I love the pattern mixing! That dress looks great on you too.

And now I need to go find some cheese, bread and a toaster. Your post title made me hungry.

So glad you're back... I'm sure you're exhausted! :( You look fantastic, though!

Lots of love~ hope work won't be too overwhelming.

That is a fun belt. Your husband is a talented thrifter.

So sorry about your grandma.
I am glad to see a familiar face, as it seems summer is slow in blogdonia :)

"Thrift-Fu"!! lollies...love it. A keeper. As is that wonderfully cheery belt. I think I shall program "rainbow belt" into my thrift radar...

You look great in that dress!!! I got one too, and thanks SO much for the heads-up, as Walmart left our town and I don't really go there anymore normally.

I too am very, very sorry for the loss of your grandmother; please accept my heartfelt condolences.. I still miss mine twenty-five years later. I knew when I saw that lyric that someone close to you had passed on. I said a prayer for her spirit and for you; I think it's rougher for those who remain behind than for those who've flown away...

Take care and thanks for blogging! it's nice to see you around :-)

(I'm "RedRose", a Toriphile and former @forumzer, which is where I found out about your blog!)

I know I'm delinquent by almost a full week on commenting on this, but my god I love it. I kept saving in my Google Reader queue to make sure I'd eventually come tell you how much I dig it. I DIG.
