Put A Knife In My Chest Girl, And You Walked Out That Door

Ugh. Our morning goal lately is just to get a few good shots before my face starts to melt off. I mean I spend that whole 3 minutes putting it on, so I don’t want it to melt off before my co-workers can even see it.

Check it out. I liked this outfit so much it gave me a serious case of Sassy Face.

SASSY.

I’m not really that sassy, y’all. I’m pretty nice.

Sometimes I am even friendly!

But not often, because the truth is, I don’t like most people. Have we ever talked about that? Yeah, my first instinct is to not like people. I don’t actively dislike most people or anything, I just don’t actively like them. I find people, for the most part, are very disappointing. Even me! I have no idea where that comes from and it isn’t very Christian of me, but it’s the truth.

I like Y-O-U though. I’m sure of it.

He he. I feel you on general levels of misanthropy. There's alot about American culture that pisses me off, and when I look around and see people adopting some of these things wholeheartedly, I have little tolerance for their opinions or thoughts.

I love the pop of red on the outfit! It's perfect - perfectly sassy, that is :)

Lady, I think I may just be your carbon copy. My initial instinct is to not trust and put up a barrier whenever I meet people. I live in a harsh city where niceness is hard to come by and when people generally make you mad with their selfishness, I can't help but not like people. Totally hear you on that one. Can we talk about your hair for a second? I mean really, there are no words to describle that long, thick beautiful mane of yours. I know you said you don't wash it every day, but Suzie Greaseball Thinhair over here has to wash hers every morning or else she looks unkept. My hair falls out in chunks, it worries me.

Oh my word I have that instinct too.

I think for me it comes from growing up as the "weird" girl - the girl who was best friends with her younger brother (weird!!) and then with a guy (weirder!!), the girl who'd rather read novels than watch TV (super weird), and oh yeah, the girl who was homeschooled up to graduation.
Also my family moved to a small town (very clique-y) when I was in high-school so I was the weird outsider!

I'm getting better, I think.
Although now I'm the girl who got married at 21 and actually wants to be a SAHM in a couple years!

Ha! Me too. Love this, it's the shoes that really do it for me.

As an active misanthrope, I totally understand! But I am sure that I would like you, too! And not just because those jeans are top-notch...

Okay that was just hysterical. I'm usually the one who feels like everyone I meet for the first time DOES actively dislike me. :)

I'm so glad to know that you're pretty sure you do like me, though. ;)

I love the sassy face! And I agree, the outfit is pretty fantastic.

You are so funny.
Thanks for liking me!

Look atchoo, miss sass! I'm totally the same way, though. I need to be convinced to actively like someone. It just means that when I do, I really, truly, like them, who they are. It's good, I think.
