But he looked great. UGLY sweater, old school Docs, Morrissey tee, scruffy beard and all.
Here is my outfit in all it’s glory though:

That jacket is a jacket I bought when I was 16, with a paycheck from the GAP. I was so excited when I got it, I wore it right away. In August. In Texas.
For me, the thing that really made the costume though was the thermal underwear shirt:

Everything but the earrings (Love Erin Designs), boots (Steve Madden) I dont have my Docs anymore) and the thermal (Wal-mart) is vintage. The jacket is 16 years old. 16!~

SO cute! Where was the party? I always wanted a COOL motorcycle leather jacket but alas, they didn't make them in pleather (plus I don't think I'm hip enough to pull one off... then OR now)!
Oh my gosh, you look like Elaine from Seinfeld!
you got rid of my docs??? I sooo would have taken them back. *slump*
Okay I have to mention that the 90's were the fashion love affair that instilled my life long love affair of all things 70's. That or I was a hippie in a former life. In any case viva grunge - viva 90s - and I need a dress exactly like this to wear with my knee high doc martians.
aside: I really hate that I got rid of my flower doc martins. what was I thinking????
Oy - I had about 10 versions of that dress back in the day. Way to stir up old memories, lady!
You were so obvi ahead of the fashion curve at 16! I love pieces like that jacket, forever timeless yet stylish.
