And now back to our regularly scheduled program.

I am working again. Which means I am getting dressed. Yay. This is my second week and mostly I am trying to just get used to the grind again. Putting together an outfit and taking pictures has just been too much extra.

Until today.

Which is cool, because I really loved this outfit.

That leather jacket is one that Nathan picked up for me at a thrift store this winter. It’s not the most fashionable jacket I own, but it is the most sensible. It has long enough sleeves to keep my arms warm, and it’s long enough to cover my behind. I’ve really gotten a lot of use out of it.

That little open cardigan thing was a Valentines gift from Nathan. I had tried it on at Urban Outfitters a week earlier, but it was crazy expensive for something so totally worthless. Don’t get me wrong, I adore it. It looks awesome. But it serves zero function, and with times as tight as they are, I could not justify something like that. But Nathan remembered, and went back and got it. I’ve already worn it 3 times!~ It’s super versatile.

Look! Giant pockets!

Anyway. I’m glad to be back, and excited about getting caught up on your blogs as well.

I've gotten some short sleeved/sleeveless jackets and were surprised to find they often add the perfect amount of warmth!

You should seriously model those mark. dresses because they look a thousand times better on you than on the girls in the magalogs!

I guess that answers what you got for Valentine's Day--it looks great on you!

I love, love, love that cardigan-esque thing. I tried it on at Urban too - but it didn't work with my wardrobe as well as it obviously does with yours - you rock it - LOVE IT!
