Some Girls Mothers Are Bigger Than Other Girls Mothers

This outfit is Not Good. Not good at all. The blouse does not fit. It rides up over my bust and looks ridiculous and after today I am adding it to the “out” pile. I love it so much it’s hard to give it up, but it is not doing me any favors. Plus the proportions on the jeans and cardigan are not flattering at all. So I’m not loving it. I am however stuck in it for the rest of the day.

I’ll tell you this though; it’s just a bad outfit. It’s not who I am or what I am. Me personally? I’m still pretty awesome.

Hear hear! It's important to feel good about how you look, but more important to know you are more than an outfit.

And for the record, your "bad" outfit ain't so bad! :)

I agree, if you hadn't said anything I wouldn't have thought this outfit was "bad" at all (but then again, this is me--ha ha). I know how it is, though, when I wear something and know that it doesn't flatter me or is "off" somehow. I just don't feel right in it even if I love it otherwise!

I really love the colour of that cardigan on you... I don't think I've seen you wear anything that colour before. And I'll always love those shoes!

Hmmm, looks pretty darned cute to me. And can the blouse be saved? Cut it up and make a scarf?

I thought you were looking mighty cute today. I like the cardi with the jeans and clogs. The top looks perfect in the first pic. But if you're not comfortable in it, it's no good.

I am TOTALLY having one of those days today too. I've layered two tops today and they are completely not working... but that's ok! I've actually made a point this week to try wearing some items I haven't worn in a while to REALIZE why I haven't worn them in a while. Now I know. Now I cleared some space in my closet. Win win! :)

Awwww, farewell twin Target bow-less blouse! It has had a nice long run, longer than mine lasted!

I think you look cute, but clothes that ride up or are uncomfortable aren't worth keeping around.

I agree, you look very good in olive! Dump that shirt at the Goodwill - I hate shirts that cause unfortunate boob issues or ride up/down all day.

I think your outfit is pretty cute! And that olive cardigan looks so comfy! But I know how it is to feel ugly in something, regardless of how it looks. This actually works in reverse for me, too - I feel prettiest when I'm comfortable, even if I'm just wearing the same old jeans and a flannel.

Hurrah to being continually awesome no matter what you wear! Even if you look cute to us!

I really like the print of the top, that stinks if it's uncomfy. And I agree, your outfit is cute!

I think this outfit is super cute. Honestly, in it you'd fit right in with us Yankees in Boston. :) (Though I bet the weather in TX is better.) I also agree with Allie - feeling comfortable in what you wear is important - and Sal - the blouse can be transformed into something else - so do what works for you. We think you're fab either way. :)

It doesn't look bad to me at all but it's all about how you feel!

I think you look quite fetching in this outfit, but if it's annoying to you and you don't like how it feels, it's gotta go!

I also think you look quite nice in this outfit. Sorry you're not feeling comfortable in it. Would maybe switching out the jeans for a skirt and adding a belt to the top make you feel more "you"?
I am drooling over those shoes.

I get what you're saying about this outfit not being "you" but the clogs redeem the whole thing for me. They are fabulous.

Yep, you're still pretty awesome, and you have the Smiths lyric to back it up.

first - wow!clogs - right on.

second - 'eh' outfits come with the territory, once you decide to stretch out and not go with the 'safe boring same old thing' everyday....and take a risk here and there.

it's a good thing : ) (hehe)

have a fun day all!!! steph

Hey... it happens. The good news is that you now feel fine about donating or swapping the shirt. I always hang unto clothes and when I finally wear them again, I think 'These pinch... why are they taking up space?
