Love, Erin

For the past couple of weeks I have been working on some jewelry for a local Dallas boutique, Elements. Elements is a gorgeous boutique filled with silk, silver and stingray. Luxe from wall to wall, they also have some of the most attentive and knowledgeable shopgirls in town.I'm extremely excited to have the opportunity to produce some pieces for them and I hope you get a chance to go check it out.

I set up a little work station by the window...

But of course a girl likes to be on the move so I've got a bit of a portable station as well!

For the first set of pieces I am using some beads that Connie, the lovely owner of Elements, has been stockpiling for a while, as well as some things I've got leftover from my Etsy days. I love that it is in keeping with my blog theme, I'm working with what I've got. I laid out the materials and just let them sort of be in my line of vision for a couple of days and then, as they tend to do, they started becoming pieces in my head, so I did my best to bring them to life. I'm very happy with the results!

Here are some sneak peek shots I took...

I would LOVE to make jewelry, do you have any suggestions on where to get started? where did you start picking up beads and chains and things as well as organizing tips? I really love the cross bracelet and the two necklaces below it <3 <3 <3

Ancre Rouille, it is a high end boutique, which is why thy have decided to add local, hand made jewelry to their offerings!
