7 for 1 (The End is the Beginning)

I have sort of run out of time for the 30x30. My new job starts tomorrow and the pieces I selected are not suitable. I choose these pieces when I was living a different life. Now that my life is changing, the way I dress will be too. I hope that you will continue the journey with me. I think the next evolution is going to be a good one.

I can't stand the thought of quitting unfinished, and the truth is? I could probably knock 10 more outfits out of this, no problem. So I spent some time yesterday planning, putting together and photographing 7 final outfits for you to wrap up my Winter 2011 30x30. I hope you like them. (You can see larger versions of the pictures by clicking though to my Flickr.)

24 (29 + 18 + 8 +24)

26 (25 + 22)

27 (19 + 8 + 24)

30 (26 + 17 + 9 + 20)
30 (26 + 17 + 9 + 20)

The 30x30 was a wonderful learning experience for me. I learned that I have a LOT more clothes and so many more combinations than I ever dreamed. I flexed remix muscles I didn't even know I had. But I am ready to move on now, and put my new skills to use with the rest of my clothes.

You can see all 30 outfits here.

Is this THE job? The one you were excited for the interview? That moved fast (maybe just for me). Congratulations!

I think it's so cute you completed the outfits anyway. I just quit but now I'm wishing I would've thought of this. . . I had the outfits just not the patience. :)

I love your style. I've put a few of these in my "inspiration" folder!

I love that you still did a week's worth of outfits. I really really love those lacy skirts--they're way more versatile than I would've thought!

I'm so impressed with how well you pulled off the 30x30. You've really given me courage to think about participating in the next go-round (though I'm hoping it's months form now!) My fave of this post is the floral dress with your gold belt and blazer. Hot. Though I love the first look too. Okay, I love everything. So sue me.

I got to work this morning, and thought: "It's Erin's first day of work" and before I even logged into my email, I checked your blog. Of course, I was a day early!!

I love that you still finished the challenge! I'm so jealous of you bare arms and legs!

gah! that nude color dress is GORGEOUS! it looks amazing on you!

Tiffany said...

Oh my! I love all of these looks, but the nude number with the boots (26) is per-fec-tion. It's so simple, so rural looking, it's a look that heralds in warmer weather and brings afternoon field frolicks to mind.

Good luck with the new job. I'm sure you'll be amazing, and I can't wait to hear (read) how it goes.

Good luck with your new job - I like the series of outfits you posted. Especially the infamous Target skirt (which I wore today)!

I've learned so much with this project and definitely will be sticking to some things I've learned.

Yay for being done with the 30 for 30! I can't wait to see your work outfits? How will you have to be dressing differently? I sort of thought you could wear whatever you wanted if you worked somewhere awesome like BE?

woohoo! My faves are 27-30.

Completion for the win! I'm proud you found a way to finish 30 x 30 AND work it at your new job.

I can't wait to see what cool outfits you bust out for the folks at Buffalo Exchange! You will knock their socks OFF.

OMG, I can't believe you worked so hard to finish this!

The top one is so edgy adorable. I'm not a fan of lace look items, but you're rocking that skirt out (much prefer that colour) especially by pairing it with the camo shoes.

I'm totally loving outfit #24!!
