I’m Not Gonna Teach Him How To Dance With You

And I’m calling that a week of wearing the same jacket. I should just pretend I set myself a style challenge or something. I won’t wear it tomorrow because I wore it last Friday. Plus, since it’s blue denim, I can’t really wear it with jeans. Well, I suppose I CAN, but I WON’T.

Other than not wearing it with jeans I feel like I’m hard pressed to find something I don’t like it paired with. It’s turned out to be a really versatile piece. I checked this morning and they do still have it in stock, it’s called the “Coquette Denim Jacket” and mine is a size medium if that helps with sizing questions. (Not gonna lie, looking at the Forever XXI site during a 2 month shopping ban just about made me faint. I got in, found what I wanted and got out, but not before noticing that they now have this jacket in a black faux leather. Had I not been on a ban I would have gotten one, and knowing that because it’s Forever XXI, they won’t have it after the ban is kind of hard. But I’ll live.)

Nathan says he doesn’t like the larger sized pictures. I do. So I compromising and using one, maybe two large pictures and then keeping the others the small/medium size. What are your thoughts?

I like the new picture format! I also love that jacket- I would never think to pick it up in a store but it looks fabulous on you!

I love that tunic you have on. I like the big pics better only because I can see everything that way! :)

I like the large pictures, we can see you better! That dress is PERFECT. Can you move closer to me so I can borrow it please?

E, any chance we could see your WHOLE bag collection someday? (I understand if not, as someone with a borderline-embarrassing shoe collection, but had to ask.)

I think I actually said that I don't like it when it's all large pics - but that is mostly because it takes forever to scroll down through them on our old/slow notebook.

I like the large pictures best because you can better see the detail of things!

That dress is lovely on you and I'm impressed with how many different ways the jacket works.

That dress is super cute on you!

See, large pictures win!! I love them. It's too hard to see detail otherwise (yes, I know I can click through but I am LAZY).

Every time you wear that mark. dress I really wish it would look that good on me!

I am blind as a bat so I like the bigger pics!

You should totally wear it for a week!

i like having a large pic, so we can see the details of the outfit, but also a smaller pic, so i can see the whole outfit all at once, since the large pic is usually too big to fit on my screen all at once...

BTW, i have officially started posting outfit photos! so swing by my blog sometime. :)

I like the larger picture - easier to see outfit detail.

As much as I hate the Forever 21 store (so chaotic) their website is great - it takes a lot of restraint for me not to order a ton of stuff every time I look.

Loving the dress! I am a fan of all things damask and the black and white makes it just a bold graphic pattern! Be proud of yourself for not getting the jacket... all out shopping bands are scary hard!

that jacket is freaking awesome... now that I know it comes in faux leather? I am all over that!

and I like a combo of pics, because sometimes the bigger ones I can't see the whole ensemble at once (I have to scroll, especially on my laptop), but the details are great. and then the reverse is true of the smaller pics. so, I say both!

I second what evanadine said:

1 big pic, the rest little.

The big pic for detail.
The little ones so we can get the whole pic on our screens at once. (Especially if we are sneaking looks at your blog when we're not supposed to and have to keep the window small.)

Wow. You look SO adorable! I am laughing my head off about your (?) boyfriend not liking the big pictures and your compromise! Perfectly funny! I love that jacket. I saw your link at God's Favorite Shoes and I came over to say hi :) Your title sounded interesting!

I agree with Kasmira. (Glad I read her comment before I wrote this.) It's a great jacket. Wear it as often as you like!

I'm always debating photo size myself :-/

Fab jacket, still, and well done for remixing it for a whole week.

I love the big pictures. My man doesn't like me posting big pics of my face for some reason, says they're scary which I think is a little harsh! You just keep doing what you're doing. You rock.

Jumping on that bandwagon, I love the dress too! Gives me great ideas of what to do with some border print fabric I have stashing around here somewhere...

Love the jacket and dress!

I agree on a mix of sizes. One big picture for details. One small picture to fit on screen and get overall impression of outfit. That's kind of funny. Big picture for small details. Small picture for big picture look. Anyway... The rest of whatever size makes you happy.
