These are my skinny jeans.
I bought them at my very thinnest. Some days, they won’t go over my thighs. Some days they do. I feel so thin and wonderful when they do. I used to feel REALLY bad about myself on days when they didn’t fit, in fact I avoided trying them on for a few months out of fear of a bad self-esteem day. But I’ve started to let it go. It’s just a pair of jeans. I still weight the same as I did before I tried them on.
But I am not going to lie. As much as I’ve decided not to feel bad when they DON’T fit…I still enjoy when they do.
I have a hard time getting shots of my various rings, but this one came out really well! I love the contrast of the classic almost vintage style of the sapphire ring next to the playfulness of the skull ring. The sapphire was a Valentine’s day gift from Nathan one year, and the skull was from my best girl Alannah.

I love love that sapphire ring. Your husband has good taste and very blue eyes!
I've been avoiding my "skinny" jeans all summer.
I need another pair of those jeans. I still always call that place Harold & Maude's for some reason though! :)
Those jeans look great on you and I adore that skull ring!
Your attitude towards the jeans is the same as mine towards horoscopes. I believe them when they're good!
Oh, I've had jeans like that. They're dangerous to keep around! But dang, those sure look great on ya, lady.
Skinny jeans are fickle that way. If I do so much as eat a bit too much salt, I won't get mine to button! What a difference a teensy bit of water weight makes...
My coworkers had this big discussion the other day in front of me (they invited themselves to sit at my table--NOT COOL) about how the only people who wear skinny jeans are 13-year-olds and everyone else looks horrible in them. They are obviously just jealous bitches! You look fantastic in yours. I wish I'd gotten to try the Dear line (or Bitten, for that matter) before all the Steve and Barry's closed around here. :(
I love that ring! I still browse her stuff but haven't bought anything for myself.

The sapphire is amazing! And yes, I feel the same way about my skinny jeans. I gave them away to my friend's 'skinny' sister so I could stop feeling so obsessed. Now that I'm a bit healthier, I wonder if they fit but I'm ok with never knowing...
Kudos to your for bravely posting a photo of your derriere in skinny jeans! And, ahem, it looks great... please take that in the least pervy way possible. :-)
Great jeans, and they fit you perfectly! Oh, and I covet your sapphire and diamond ring...
Hope you don't mind me asking but how tall are you? I am 5'3" and I have decided to try to dress a bit taller. You always look so willowy, I was wondering if it was due to height or clever dressing!
Thanks for all the kind words!
Ella,
I'm about 5'7". So I'm about average as far as I can tell.
Love the rings! That sapphire one is gorgeous.
Thanks for answering re height. I still think you are really good at dressing to accentuate your height, so will be seeing if I can put some of it into practice!
Have just checked and apparently 5'5" is average height for a woman of our generation.
