I almost appear to be glowing in these pictures, but I promise I’m not.
I woke up a 4:30 AM this morning. No reason. Just happens sometimes. I tried to get back to sleep but didn’t manage until sometime between 7:40 and 7:50. I know this because I looked at the clock at 7:40, but was awakened by the alarm at 7:50. It was a brutal.
We are in such a weird place right now. It’s normally much warmer by now in Dallas, at least I think it is. And I feel like it’s too late in the year to be wearing leggings, and too cold to go bare legged. I lucked out with this maxi dress today as a happy medium. I have one pair of pants that are comfortable and I can’t really afford more. It’s getting tough to figure out what to wear, and it doesn’t look to be warming up this week. I am going to hit up the Wal-Mart, I think, and see if I can’t find a pair of cheap pants to make it through until I lose a bit of this weight. What I DON’T want to do is crash diet or try and lose it quickly. That doesn’t work for me.
Did you have a good weekend? I spent Friday night at home, we had pizza and watched Mad Men. Saturday we went to Good Records for Record Store Day and then my friend Kelly took me on a date for the best hibachi I’ve had in a while. Yesterday was a quiet day at home with more Mad Men and several hours of cleaning. I hate cleaning, but I love a clean house!~

I don't know how you feel about thrifting, but that might be a good way to get some inexpensive pants for the in-between stages of your diet - and less expensive than even Walmart!
Oh my goodness! That floral maxi dress and belt are so pretty together! I love it. I hate cleaning too but I love a clean house! Wish someone else would do it for me though:(
The print on that maxi dress is gorgeous, and I love that necklace! Like Rachel, I am a proponent of thrifting through the in between sizes stage of weight loss.
I love the ruching on the bust of this dress!
Waking up that early has to be the pits. I can't say it happens to me, I sleep like a LOG. A deaf log.
I don't comment often but I had to post to say I especially love this outfit! Sadly, I am too short for long dresses like this... You look like your banner portrait today!
I love your dress. Like Una I too am too short for long dresses/skirts so I'm always envious of people that can pull them off.
I also love your necklace!
Looking long and lovely in this dress. It makes me want to consider the maxi dress!
I love the dress and the bug!
I can't believe I am actually loving a maxi dress. This is a testament to your abilities.
I have that same cicada on a giant ring :D
I agree with the first comment, try thrifting. It will be cheaper than Wally World. I love that big belt with the dress. I also agree with you, hate to clean, but love a clean house.=)
We are having similar sort of weather now but on the other side of the world...in New Zealand. It's too hot to be wearing a jacket and just cold enough that we can't wear a sleeveless dress.
That dress is GORGEOUS on you! I'm not the biggest fan of big belts on dresses, but this looks fabulous!
The dress looks lovely on you, and I love the way you've styled it. And your photos from the shoot with Colleen are fantastic!
That maxi dress looks just glorious on you, and I am majorly jealous of all your awesome necklaces!
I love that dress on you, Erin - and despite what you say, you do look glowing! Must be that gorgeous porcelain skin.
I actually had a sucky weekend (some bad stuff going on with me right now), but I did manage to make it to the record store...and I bought a record!
Oh my gosh. You are so pretty. Fantastically pretty. I think you look perfect!
