I Get All The News I Need From The Weather Report

But you know, only when I watch it. I used to just put my outfits together in the morning, but lately I’ve been putting them together at night as a sort of fun, relaxing downtime sort of thing to do before bed. Plus it lets me sleep an extra 10 to 20 minutes! Last night I ended up with a super cute combo with a sleeveless blouse, a black skirt and sandals.

It was 40 some odd degrees (F) when I woke up today. I should have checked the weather. I had to scramble for a back up.

Hey, you might notice I’m barefoot. Today is One Day Without Shoes. Please take a moment to check out the site and think for a moment about what a life without shoes might look like. Then, if you can, maybe hop on over to Tom’s and buy some shoes so someone else can have a pair too. Look, I admit, I’m not a huge fan of the original Tom’s shoes. But I LOVE the wrap boots, and plan to buy a pair someday, and they are coming out with a wedge this summer that looks to be pretty darn cute!

I’m down with the thought behind the movement, but I have a corporate job, so I am in fact, wearing shoes today.

Cute ones too. Not so much comfortable ones though!

I often wish I had bought a couple more pairs of these Wal-Mart pants when I had the chance. They are, and I know it sounds crazy, but they are the nicest made pants I have ever owned. They are well cut, well sewn and comfortable.

Oh Hi buddy!~ I love you too!

I love this outfit. Corporate chic without the stuffiness.

Pretty!!! I like that shirt a lot. The cold weather made me change my outfit plans too--what on earth? I thought we were done with this 40 degrees crap! >:(

Love the pattern and ruffle of the shirt! I didn't know about today - so thanks for the heads up! Not that I would go shoeless anyway, I work in the middle of downtown = gross sidewalks!

Great outfit!! I love how every piece fits and goes together! I also love how your puppy is so happy that he is wagging his tail so fast it's blurry :)

I totally feel the same about a pair of JC Penney's slacks I bought on the way cheap from their Juniors section. Sometimes I think that great design takes a long time to trickle down, but eventually it must. Either that or the job market for great clothing designers is so bad that even good ones end up working in unexpected places.

Also, I totally went to that wedge link and entered my info. I would absolutely buy a pair of Tom's wedges, but no way was I going for either of the earlier designs.

that jacket fits you like a dream! i love the pretty ruffles peaking out, and those are the most amazing shoes ever! Purple peeptoes are definitely on my list of shoes to watch out for.

It's awesome of you to bring more awareness to One Day Without Shoes. Toms are on my wishlist too!

Those pants do look amazing on you! And I love the purple print blouse and the purple pumps. Way to color coordinate without being too matchy.

Love the spotty blazer + floral ruffle blouse combo. And the shoes, too! I always wondered about the comfort level of RSVP footwear because they have a lot of cute styles on 6pm.com that I like, but I'm dubious after your posting!

I have that song stuck in my head now, thank you.

I always plan my outfits the night before now - I find it really soothing to drift off to sleep thinking of my clothes.

Looking very stylin' and professional! Love those shoes! They make me want to wear my own purple suede peep-toes!

I think this might be my favorite outfit of yours yet. I love how you kept your love of florals in this strong, professional look. Too bad the shoes aren't comfortable because they are divine!
