Urban Bazaar

Erin had a booth down at the Urban Bazaar yesterday, and so we went down to hang out with her for a while (by which I mean all day). It was a lovely day. I brought cash so that I could only spend what I meant o, since last time I spent a LOT more than I intended to or should have. I got a necklace from Haute Hardware (natch!~) for myself, and Nathan bought me one as well. The one I bought is more costume-y, but the one Nathan bought me is so lovely I have not been able to stop wearing it:

So pretty!~ But let’s see what I wore, shall we?

I have no idea why I thought I would need a cardigan. It was a SCORCHER for October.

You can hardly tell, I know, but I am wearing a grey tank under that dress. I have tried wearing strapless dress for day once or twice, and never had an actual problem, but I find I’m just not comfortable. Too much time spent worrying what could happen. I prefer a tank under strapless dresses for day, and a cardigan over them for night.

This bag is a GREAT thrift store score.

The bracelet I paid way too much for at Target in Austin last time I went down there for a girls weekend, but I adore it.

These rings I won in a lot on eBay a few years back. When I won them, the snake ring fit, but the scarab ring did not. It was too small even for my pinky. I lost 35 pounds and boom. It fit. My ring finger even!

The necklace is self made

Cardigan, Alternative Apparel
Tank, Wal-Mart
Dress, mark by Avon
Sandals, American Eagle
Bag, vintage, thrifted
Necklace, self made
Bracelet, Target
Rings, eBay lot
Hoops, Wal-Mart

I've been waiting to see that bracelet. I still think it was a great find for you.

So, I can't do strapless. The girls are just TOO BIG for that business. I feel like I would look weird if I wore a tank under something strapless, even though you make it look amazing.

It was like 40 here over the weekend so I'm glad SOMEBODY got decent weather!

I wish I had rings that were too small before, but everything I wore before is now too big so I can't wear 90% of my favourite rings. :( I love that scarab though!

That tank looks great under that dress, by the way. You = genius!

That bracelet is awesome, something you will rarely see on anyone - that's the type of jewelry I love.

I hope that you do not think I am being rude - but I see that you mention your weight loss (i noticed it in an earlier post) and I was wondering if you did anything specific to do SO well??

BG,

I don't think that's rude at all!~ I used Weight Watchers, as did a lot of my mates, and I know of at least 3 other girls who also lost 30 pounds or more. I can't recommend it enough!~

Thank you for letting me know. Since having the shop I have put on about 14 pounds, I am just not as active as I was! I have been kidding myself that I am trying to lose weight alone, but I think the time may have come to try out weight watchers!
